Season Six of the Bellator tournament continues tonight with the Featherweight Tournament final. Marlon Sandro looks to beat Daniel Straus for an opportunity to face Pat Curran next year for the featherweight belt.

Also on the card is Marius Zaromskis making his Bellator debut against Strikeforce veteran Waachiim Spiritwolf. The fight is almost guaranteed to be exciting as both Zaromskis and Spiritwolf bring the fight every time they enter the cage.

Marcos Galvao was victorious winning a unanimous decision.

Daniel Strauss was victorious in his fight against Marlon Sandro. He is the Season 6 featherweight tournament champion. He will face the winner of Curran/Pitbull.

Round 1

Marcin Held gets dropped quickly and it's very apparently that he still has awful stand up. He got up and clinched up and then dropped for a leg lock. Beautiful transitions between different submissions before getting the tap out. This kid is so talented on the ground it's crazy.

Round 1

Apologies, caught the second half of the round. Zaromskis had difficulty fighting at range and was forced to clinch up against the cage. He landed a beautiful elbow but like much of his career he left himself open for counter attack. I'd give the first round to Spiritwolf based on aggression but it was a very close round.

Round 2

The second round starts and it's more of the same. Marius Zaromskis is having difficulty fighting at range. He's much smaller than Spiritwolf and has been forced to fight inside. Some nice knees to the body from Zaromskis look to have taken out a lot from Spiritwolf's tank as he keeps his hands on his hips and takes a deep breath. Spiritwolf rallies at the end and nearly stops Marius with punches against the fence.

Round 3

The fight is over. In the time between rounds the ringside doctor stopped the fight for a cut over Waachiim Spiritwolf's eye. Doesn't look to be a fight ending cut but that's the breaks. The crowd is livid though chanting "Let Them Fight!" and Marius Zaromskis is staying warm since there hasn't been an official call yet.

Official Result: Marius Zaromskis defeats Waachiim Spiritwolf by doctor stoppage (cuts).

7:21 PM ET

Seth Petruzelli vs Carmelo Marrero has been scratched from the card. The fight was supposed to be contested at a 230 pound catchweight. Petruzelli wasn't cleared today after one of the doctors heard fluid in his lungs. A second doctor heard the same fluid and the fight was called.

This would be Petruzelli's first fight since last August where he stopped Ricco Rodriguez by knock out.

I reached out to the NJSAC and have found out that Marcin Held vs Derrick Kennington will be replacing the fight on the main card.
