Joe Torre was pretty good on Larry King tonight, and reminded me of the Joe Torre we all remember. He had calm answers for everything, except they "why." He said something about wanting to share what it was like, but it still seems to me like it was about the money.
The "A-Fraud" thing seems like it was clubhouse banter and not a behind-the-back rip.
Also on A-Rod, the quote below makes sense to me:
"You can't put Alex Rodriguez into a clubhouse and not think it's gonna change based on who he is, his ability, and what he's done in the past."
"To me, this book is going to sit on the shelves. It's going to be a piece of history."
I actually can't wait to read the book.
