USA-Brazil: Americas Challenge Game One

Jonathan PenneyContributor IJanuary 31, 2009

I know that men's curling might be the farthest thing away from women's beach volleyball, but it is the men on the ice in North Dakota that take up the torch of Brazil vs. USA.

The Brazillians looked a little nervous in the first end as they gave up four to Todd Birr of the USA in the first of the best of five Americas Challenge.

In the second end the final skip stone from Brazil just ticked the front gaurd on a centre line hit to give up a steal of two.

Brazil got on the board with a nice hit through a couple of guards.

By the fifth end break it was 13-1.

The Brazillians looked to struggle with weight and nerves.
