Euro 2012 is barely a month away, and with excitement mounting, we count down five players who’ll bring a considerable goal threat to the tournament in Poland and Ukraine.
We start with a Frenchman who has been banging them in for Real Madrid, Karim Benzema.
Up next is his Madrid teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who’ll be lining up for Portugal in the so-called “group of death” against Netherlands, Germany and Denmark.
Another to watch in that group is Germany’s Mario Gomez, who has helped Bayern Munich to the Champions League final this season.
We finish with two red-hot Dutchmen—Klaas-Jan Huntelaar and Robin van Persie. The big question is, who’ll be more dangerous this summer?
