Floyd Mayweather, Jr. is coming off a great victory against Miguel Cotto, but his undefeated record will lose meaning if he never fights Manny Pacquiao.

It's the battle boxing fans have wanted to see for so many years now. If Mayweather vs. Pacquiao goes down in history as all talk, it will be a crushing blow to both boxers' careers.

Once his career is over, everyone will say Mayweather was one of the best ever, but it's a shame he never fought Pacquiao.

If Pretty Boy Floyd truly wants to be considered the best, he has to fight Pac-Man.

There's no way Mayweather will want to live with his career being tainted like this. People saying he was so great, but man they sure wish he had taken on Pacquiao.

Mayweather should prefer that fans mention his name only when talking about his career. However, if he never fights Pacquiao then both of their names will be forever attached to each other.

Will we ever see Mayweather vs. Pacquiao?

That's not how they should want to be remembered.

These two are the best in the world today, and the fact they've been trying to negotiate a fight for so long but constantly keep failing to make it happen is just pathetic.

It's ruining both of their legacies right now, and if the fight never happens, all we'll be left with is the "what if," which is just wrong.

They need to give the people what they want, simply because the fans deserve it. The world needs to know which one is the better boxer.

The debate of who would win between Mayweather and Pacquiao has been going on for far too long.

Sure, if they ever fought, some folks would make up an excuse for the loser, but the same could be said about every boxing match.

Just let this bout be scheduled and fate will run its course in the ring. Fighting each other is the only way these boxers' careers will be able to end in peace.
