Premier League Transfer Rumours: 5 Biggest Deals in the Offing Right Now
There will be some big transfer deals in the English Premier League this summer.
As the season comes to a close, more and more transfer rumours will emerge and some of them will become a reality.
We're here to take a look at five of the biggest transfer deals that may happen in the Premier League this summer.
Hulk to Chelsea
Hulk and Chelsea have been strongly linked over the last few months. The Daily Mail recently reported that the English club is closing in on a deal for Porto's attacker.
Many suitors have been put off by Hulk's astronomical price tag, but it looks like Chelsea may be able negotiate a suitable fee.
Hulk's arrival would certainly be a big one and provide Chelsea with a very potent and versatile player.
Shinji Kagawa to Manchester United
According to Talksport.com, Manchester United is closing in on a deal to sign Borussia Dortmund's Shinji Kagawa.
This deal is very surprising, considering all the other players that have been linked to the English club before Kagawa.
The Japanese playmaker would help solve Manchester United's midfield problems. What's more, considering his contract situation, he may come at a very decent price.
Gaston Ramirez to Liverpool
Liverpool are interested in Uruguayan starlet Gaston Ramirez, according to Metro. The Bologna star's agent, Pablo Bentancur, recently let it known that his client was the subject of a bid from an English club.
Bologna have received an offer near to 20million euros from an important club in the Premier League.
Bologna will decide at the end of the season what they are going to do.
Ramirez, 21, joined Bologna in 2010 from boyhood club Penarol.
Eden Hazard to Premier League
According to Metro and other widespread reports, Eden Hazard has long since decided that he is going to England this summer. The only question is where his final destination will be.
All the big clubs have been linked to him at some point, and you can bet they've all at least tried to open negotiations with the player.
With so many suitors, there is sure to be a bidding war that raises the Belgian's final price tag.
Jan Vertonghen to Tottenham
Nevertheless, according to Sky Sports, Rafael van der Vaart has told The People that a deal is close to be being done.
Dutchman Van der Vaart, who came through the youth ranks at Ajax a few years ahead of the Belgian, claims Spurs are frontrunners for his signature, with the stopper thought to be worth around £8million.
He is quoted as saying by The Sun: "Spurs asked me about him. If he's sensible, he will opt to join us."
The 29-year-old midfielder added in the Sunday People: "I hope Jan comes to Tottenham. As far as I know the deal is close to being done."
Vertonghen, 25, has been a part of the Ajax senior setup since 2006.
