Arkansas-Alabama: Razorbacks Off the Schneid—At Last

Razorback ExpatsSenior Analyst IJanuary 29, 2009

Solid, solid win by the Hogs. Shooting 45 percent from behind the three-point arc and 80 percent from the free throw line will win you a lot of ball games.

The highly coveted RazorbackExpat Player of the Game Award goes to—duh—Rotnei Clarke, who hit six of eight threes on his way to a career-high 26 points. He did a great job of driving to the basket early in the game to get himself and the team untracked. Michael Sanchez, Michael Washington, and Courtney Fortson also deserve mention.

A final note before we call it a night—this team misses Marcus Monk. Why in the world is it taking so long to figure out if he’s eligible or not? Whatever the issue is, can it really be that difficult to resolve?

More tomorrow. In the meantime, tell us what you think.
