90' + 5' - One last free kick for the Galaxy. That was too high and wide left. That's a wrap.
LOS ANGELES GALAXY 0
RED BULL NEW YORK 1
Joel Lindpere 19'
90' + 4' - I think this is going to be a hard-fought three points for New York. No question about it. And the turf is a Red Bull. How about that.
90' + 3' - Todd Dunivant slips and falls. Pure comedy.
90' + 2' - This may not be LA's night. Two straight shutout defeats in a row, that's what on tap.
90' + 1' - Bad cross. And an even worse miss from Beckham.
90' - Didn't make the most of that. And there has to be some urgency here from LA as Meara makes yet another collection.
Five minutes of additional time.
89' - Here's Kenny Cooper. And another foul. Free kick, New York.
88' - Yellow card 9 Chad Barrett
Los Angeles Galaxy
Frustration Express. One-way ticket for Barrett.
87' - LA are paying the price for not being creative enough with their chances. And another delivery from Beckham is collected by Meara.
86' - Another throw-in for LA. And another point-blank save for Meara.
85' - Free kick for Beckham, taken short. Michael Stephens now, and this is DeLaGarza. And some more poor finishing.
84' - Another collection by Meara. Now it's Bill Gaudette with the redistribution. All signs point to a second shutout defeat in a row.
83' - Kenny Cooper has not been up to snuff tonight.
82' - Another save by Meara! Best one of the night. Corner to LA. And that is cleared
Substitution New York Red Bulls
IN 17 Juan Agudelo
OUT 8 Jan Gunnar Solli
81' - Yellow card 11 Dax McCarty
Red Bull New York
Another cleared chance. Los Angeles are not making the most of their opportunities today. Jan Gunnar Solli is still shaken up.
80' - Back come the Red Bulls. They are looking to close out the match. And Barrett again with some terrible ball handling. Aghast.
79' - Well geez Chad Barrett, that was one heck of a finish! /sarcasm
78' - No time for the Shasta tricks, Juninho. Meanwhile, Dane Richards goes on a run. And he slows down. Now it's Michael Stephens. Ouch, that wasn't the best of passes.
77' - Substitution Red Bull New York
IN 44 Victor Palsson
OUT 10 Mehdi Ballouchy
Decent defending there.
76' - Ballouchy, and Stott calls another foul on Los Angeles. Free kick for the Red Bulls.
75' - Substitution Los Angeles Galaxy
IN 26 Michael Stephens
OUT 21 Tommy Meyer
Yes indeed, Arena has thrown in the towel. That is a bad pass right there.
74' - Lade plays it forward. Now it's Tommy Meyer. And that was the best chance of the day for Los Angeles, but Robbie Keane didn't make his run. The epitome of a disastrous afternoon.
73' - They can sit on this lead if they want. Here's New York's Joel Lindpere. Back come LA, and that is saved. Defense by committee.
