Dominic James's Answering Machine

"Hey 'Nic, it's coach Crean. Just a reminder that practice is today at 4:30. We'll be working on free throws until 6:30."

"Jonathan Wallace from Georgetown.  I have to make this quick because I'm calling long distance from D.C. I want to say thanks again for trying to steal the ball as I went up to shoot that three at the end of the game last Saturday.  Without that foul, I don't know if I would've been able to score those three points to send the game to overtime."

"What's up man, it's Dan Fitzgerald. I just want to tell you that you should probably stop chucking up threes and leave that to me, David, and Scott. You just keep doing what you're good at. Put the ball on the floor and take it to the rack man. Alright...see ya at 4:30."

"Hey, Dwyane Wade here. Doc Rivers and Bo Ellis told me to call you so I can tell you to stop putting our alma mater to shame. I'll call back; Charles Barkley's on the other line. Peace."

"Hi Dominic, it's your agent. I was just watching some game film, and I thought I should tell you to forget about the NBA this year and stay at Marquette for your senior season.  Call me back. Bye."

"Hello, Dominic. This is Jesus Christ. Marquette's always been my favorite Catholic basketball team, but Dad's been teasing me ever since Notre Dame beat you guys in South Bend. Please take the Golden Eagles far in the Big East and NCAA Tournaments so that he finally shuts up."
