Newcastle's midseason signing, Papiss Cisse, continues to dazzle.

The Senegalese striker scored his 11th and 12th goals in as many matches for the Toon, as they marched to a 2-0 victory over Chelsea in front of a stunned Stamford Bridge crowd. Both goals were fantastic strikes. But the second will surely be talked about as a favorite for goal of the year.

Cisse's first strike came in the 18th minute from just inside the 18-yard box, after Cisse took a pass from Davide Santon and set himself up for a swinging left-foot volley that beat Petr Cech.

The second came in the third minute of a lengthy 10-minute injury time due to a nasty injury to midfielder Cheick Tiote earlier in the match.

Under barrage for the final 20 minutes of the match, Newcastle was able to sneak upfield for a throw-in deep in Chelsea territory. At this point, the video is the only thing that can do justice to the goal.

It was a big win for Newcastle, who are in a very tight race for the final Champions League spot for next season. Newcastle currently sits in fifth place in the league table, tied with Tottenham Hotspur for the final spot. Tottenham, however, holds the tiebreaker over Newcastle.

Next up is table-leading Manchester City at home, followed by a decisive road battle against Everton at Goodison Park.
