Among the recruits at Georgia's April 14 spring football game was Carver (Atlanta) offensive tackle Delando Crooks, who is considered a high 3- to 4-star prospect for 2013.

Crooks' current major program offers include Georgia, Georgia Tech, Tennessee, North Carolina, Wake Forest and Virginia Tech, with several other mid-majors showing interest as well.

This Atlanta junior is listed at 6'4" and 264 pounds and is ranked No. 24 at his position by Scout.com. His Rivals.com profile lists his 40-yard time at a solid 4.9 seconds, with some room for improvement.

"Crooks is a very athletic offensive lineman with very good feet, great flexibility, and the ability to get off the ball quickly," said Chad Simmons of Scout.com, who is widely considered one of the leading authorities on recruiting in Georgia.

"He is still raw in terms of technique and he needs to really work on his hand placement, holding his blocks longer, and his balance when engaged with a defensive lineman. He is an athletic OL that can move in space, get to the second level, and pull. As his body matures, his game will too."

The Carver standout has shown interest in Alabama, Auburn, Florida State and Stanford, but has yet to garner an offer from any of those schools so far.

He visited UGA back in March, and as abovementioned was also in attendance for the Dogs' spring game, which might be a good sign for Mark Richt's progress with this kid, who hasn't taken a ton of visits so far.
