Locked and Loaded

Jake KarmelCorrespondent IIJanuary 28, 2009

The Cubs are definitely locked and loaded for the 2009 season.

The trade for Aaron Heilman just adds to the Cubs' already loaded pitching staff.

I know you may be thinking: how can they be loaded?

Look at their rotation; filled with four starters that would be No. 1 starters on any other team: Zambrano, Dempster, Lilly and Harden.

The looming trade for former Cy Young winner, Jake Peavy, will just add to the stacked Cubs staff and they have been a big disappointment in the past two seasons, but with a stacked staff like this, they are hard to go against.

Expect a big run from the Cubs in 2009 with the addition of their new faces.
