WWE Extreme Rules had more hype than normal to live up to on Sunday. Most of this hype was due to the return of Brock Lesnar to WWE after an eight-year hiatus, much of which consisted of his time in UFC.

Lesnar was in the main event against the face of WWE, John Cena. The challenge I felt going into this match, critical to living up to the hype, was to entertain the people but also protect the legit tough-guy image Lesnar is carrying.

The moment Brock Lesnar started looking and performing like a typical professional wrestler/sports entertainer is the moment he is just another guy. A surprising ending to a violent match as well as a speech from John Cena. Did it live up to the hype?

Also in the video, the matches that surprised me in being better than I expected, plus what mistakes I thought were made on the show.
