Everyone is always looking for that unknown gem of a baseball player who begins the season surging and blossoms into an All-Star.

It is those players that can help you win your fantasy league and give you those oh-so-precious bragging rights.

Here are four such players, so pick them up quickly.

Jason Kipnis, Cleveland

Kipnis was called up last year but suffered a spate of injuries. He's healthy this year and after a sluggish start is showing he can hit with power and steal bases (3 HR, 12 RBI, 5 SB).

Bartolo Colon, Oakland

People probably yawned this winter when Oakland signed Colon. But he's been very effective for the A's in the early going. His ERA is 2.53, and he strikes out a decent amount of hitters. He picked up three wins in April.

Wade Miley, Arizona

He picked up his third win of the year on Sunday and is touting a microscopic ERA of 1.29 for the Diamondbacks.

Josh Willingham, Minnesota

An average player with power heading in 2012, Willingham is off to a red-hot start, hitting .353 with five HR and 15 RBI.
