If John Cena's injury is real and he is out for an extended period of time with the WWE, is there another wrestler on the roster who can sell a program with Brock Lesnar.

The confrontation between the two with the perfect case of "I am the top heel, you are the top face."

But Cena, if he is indeed injured, puts another spin on the planning and marketing of matches in the WWE, where it seems the superstars are dropping off the healthy wagon just when they are set to embark on a better program.

Since Cena beat Lesnar last night at Extreme Rule, what does the injury do to Cena, who may have been embarking on a new character twist and a continuation of a program with Lesnar, who genuinely seemed to be trying to hurt the company's fan favorite.

Who is there to carry the torch and face "The Beast" if Cena is on the shelf for a while?

Here are five guys who could come in and replace Cena as the opposition for Lesnar and his bullying-style of wrestling.

Wade Barrett

If there was anyone on this roster who may be able to face Lesnar and trade punch for punch, it may be Barrett.

The former brawler from across the pond hurt his arm after the Royal Rumble and is not expected to be back in action until August.

The big bruiser would do well in a program with Lesnar.

Sheamus

The Great White is currently the World Champion on Smackdown. But at 276 pounds, he is big enough to stand up to Lesnar.

Whether he can stand toe to toe with him is a different story.

What i like about Sheamus and his chances is he is thick and can put Lesnar on the mat. Whether he can take a punch from Lesnar, that is another story.

HHH

I can see Lesnar walking into Triple H's playground and all hell breaking loose.

Heck, that could happen tonight.

The Cerebral Assassin, with his sledge hammer and his wide base, would fight Lesnar in any kind of match.

Hell in a Cell, anyone?

CM Punk

This will happen.

Because there is a push to make Lesnar the "face" of the WWE, you figure he will challenge the current WWE Champion some time soon.

And yes, you can mark it down...Lesnar will win the WWE title, again.

Lesnar/Rock at Wrestlemania 29?

Randy Orton

Orton has the demeanor to make this work.

While I love the angle he is working with Kane, the idea of Orton taking the torch from John Cena and getting into a program with Lesnar would work.

He is tall, lean and has that uneven nature. Both "wrestlers" will thrive on it and each other.

This could be one of the better feuds of the year in the WWE.
