WWE Extreme Rules 2012 Results: Live Coverage, Updates on Brock Lesnar's Return

It was eight long years ago that we last saw Brock Lesnar compete in a WWE ring, and in a few short hours, we will see Lesnar's first WWE match in almost a decade.

A slumping John Cena will take the ring in a dream-match situation for the second consecutive pay-per-view as he takes on the former three-time WWE Champion in an Extreme Rules match that is being billed as a "fight."

Also being advertised, Sheamus takes on Daniel Bryan in a two-out-of-three falls match for the world heavyweight championship, and Chris Jericho takes on CM Punk in a Chicago Street Fight for the WWE Championship.

WWE Extreme Rules 2012 Predictions:

Santino Marella def. The Miz to retain WWE United States Championship (Preshow)

Nikki Bella def. Beth Phoenix to retain WWE Divas Championship

Cody Rhodes def. the Big Show to retain WWE Intercontinental Championship

Randy Orton def. Kane

CM Punk def. Chris Jericho to retain WWE Championship

Sheamus def. Daniel Bryan to retain World Heavyweight Championship

Brock Lesnar def. John Cena via TKO
