Sao Paolo have set a hefty price tag believed to be in the region of €50 million on their top talent Lucas Moura, Metro reveals.
Lucas Moura is, after Neymar, the hottest up-and-coming player in world football at the moment. The 19-year-old has already been scouted by Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Real Madrid, Manchester United and Chelsea.
Real Madrid have recently entered the race to sign the youngster, and Sao Paolo remain keen on maximising their profit by encouraging a bidding war.
This enormous price tag is likely to ward off interests from Inter Milan, United and Barcelona, as Lucas would represent a too expensive gamble for them.
Lucas has a contract that runs until 2015 and has a release clause of €80 million—Sao Paolo are in no rush to sell the youngster.
What do you think? What is the most likely destination for Lucas?
Will City engage in the bidding war and sign the youngster?
