Bryce Harper: Star Prospect Will Reportedly Be Called Up by Washington Nationals

The Washington Nationals are reportedly set to call up 19-year-old Bryce Harper from Triple-A Syracuse.

The news comes from CSNwashington.com's Mark Zuckerman, via Twitter:

#Nats announce Ryan Zimmerman will be placed on 15-day DL tomorrow and Bryce Harper will be called up to make his #MLB debut.

Many Nationals fans were hoping Harper, the hugely-hyped No. 1 pick from the 2010 MLB draft, would make the team out of spring training, but that didn't happen, and he was shipped to Triple-A.

With Ryan Zimmerman headed to the disabled list, however, Harper will reportedly get his first crack at the big leagues.
