Not only is draft night a monumental night for the draftees, but also for their loyal and loving parents, who played a vital role in their success.

One of those parents is Robert Griffin II, proud father of Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III.

The elder Griffin met with NFLDraft365 just prior to the draft and spoke about the draft experience surrounding his son. He shared how helpful all the events surrounding the draft actually took away from the nervousness he had about his son being drafted.

Indeed, the 2012 NFL Draft is a seminal moment for the Griffin family.
