LSU Football: Will Les Miles Let QB Zach Mettenberger Air It Out?
The one piece missing from LSU's team last year was a downfield passing attack. Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson combined couldn't stretch the field on a consistent basis, which was LSU's downfall in its BCS Championship Game loss to Alabama.
Enter: Zach Mettenberger.
The junior college transfer and former Georgia quarterback has a big arm, and if LSU's spring practice is any indication, the Tigers are making a concerted effort to stretch the field.
Actions speak louder than words. Will head coach Les Miles and offensive coordinator Greg Studrawa let things fly in 2012?
