It's always nice to see some gesture of good will from our world football stars.

Morgan De Sanctis provides us with a decent moment here during halftime of the team's 2-0 win over Lecce on Wednesday.

It seems De Sanctis got a little irate with a certain ball boy who returned the ball a bit too early for the goalkeeper's liking, but unlike others who may have dismissed their actions as a necessity and gave no second though whatsoever, De Sanctis showed some great character.

He realized he was wrong to react in such a way to a miniscule detail and especially considering who his victim was.

Halftime came around and De Sanctis promptly apologized with a little peck on the cheek and a token, his shirt of his back. Thankfully the opposition of the day wasn't Chievo. That might have been awkward.

The recipient's friend tries to get in on a piece of the action as well but shows up seconds too late, unfortunately.

All in a day's work for the Napoli goaltender, a clean sheet and giving gifts. Stay classy, Morgan De Sanctis.
