Earth’s most entertaining drama is in motion.
The 2012 NFL draft has finally arrived. The first 30 minutes or so will be predictable—drunk New York Jets fans will boo Roger Goodell, the Indianapolis Colts will select Andrew Luck and the Washington Redskins will pick Robert Griffin III. After that, though, it’s anyone’s guess.
Question marks fog every other selection, but even with all of the draft’s doubt, drama is guaranteed.
Prospects who ESPN hyped to the max will plummet in the draft, and tears are optional. Blockbuster trades will be executed. Mel Kiper and Todd McShay will blow a gasket after the Jacksonville Jaguars pick a player that makes you ask: why?!
While those circumstances are certain, everything else is unpredictable. Sit back, but don’t relax—your favorite team is about to make a decision that possesses the potential to catapult them to a title or set them back a decade.
Stay tuned for instant reactions and grades for every single first-round selection.
