With the 22nd pick of the 2012 NFL Draft, the Cleveland Browns selected Brandon Weeden out of Oklahoma State.

Instant Reaction: Colt McCoy can mentor Brandon Weeden—oh wait, Weeden’s way older than him.

Analysis: Fun fact—Weeden 28 years old. That’s as old as Aaron Rodgers.

Weeden turns 29 in October. This pick was foolish.

His ceiling pales in comparison to Ryan Tannehill’s. And they could’ve even traded down to the sixth or seventh pick to select him. The only thing that keeps this choice from an F grade is that Colt McCoy is now on the bench.
