Is Wimbledon Teen Winner Laura Robson Set for Another Grand Slam?
The teen sensation Laura Robson has progressed to the last 16 of the Australian Open girls' singles.
After winning the junior Wimbledon tournament last year, she is hoping to add another title to her amazing record. She is already on her way after beating Thailand's Kanyapat Narattana, ranked 84th, 6-3 7-6 (7-0).
The 15-year old Londoner came back from a double break down in the second set to set up a tie-break which she sped through.
To get to that match she beat American Christina McHale, who is 18 months older than her, and ranked 347th, 7-5, 6-3.
Is Murray the new Henman?
Once again our best hope of a British tennis player winning a grand slam has ended.
Andy "Boring" Murray was sent crashing out in the fourth round of the Australian Open. He was beaten by the Spaniard Fernando Verdasco, ranked 15th, in a five set match: 2-6, 6-1, 1-6, 6-3, 6-4.
It was 2-2 at one stage before the no.14 seed prevailed, winning the last set.
