In the spirit of all things new and blooming and spring-ish, I posed the question to Gabe: Which team has the best young pitching rotation in Major League Baseball?

Gabe’s thinking it’s the Texas Rangers…or maybe the Washington Nationals…or maybe the Rangers. Gosh. It’s a tough choice. Basically, he’s caught between dual man crushes on Yu Darvish and Stephen Strasburg. The tension has torn his heart asunder. Poor man.

I’m thinking Rays, the Tampa Bay kind. I like Matt Moore and David Price better than any other young tandem. Mid-rotation arms come and go, but with those two in the lead, I like Tampa Bay to stay competitive in the AL East for a long, long time.

Then we got distracted and started talking about Oliver Perez. I apologize. Please forgive us. We promise to never speak of him again.
