Dustin Pedroia's older brother has been arrested and charged with child molestation.

Brett Pedroia (not named after Brett Favre) turned himself in to authorities on Jan. 9th, after engaging in adult actions with a child under 14. No word yet on the sex of the child.

In the Pedroias' hometown of Woodland, California, the residents simply don't believe the charges. Which is kind of silly, I guess, because the guy turned himself in. Anyway, the Pedroias are like celestial beings in Woodland, so people are loath to believe the news. I guess reality will have to set in soon.
