College Football's Top 10 Nike Pro Combat Uniforms

1 of 11

Nike has done a good job in designing uniforms for college-football programs. They have designed some of the best-looking jerseys in all of sports.

Overall, Nike has changed the face of clothing in football and will look to expand to more teams in the near future.

In this article, I will be taking a look at the top-10 Nike Pro Combat uniforms and giving my analysis on each uniform.

    Enjoy.

10. Florida Gators

2 of 11

Even though the Gators are last on this list, they have one of the best uniforms in college football. Remember, this is a best of the best, and the Gators' Nike Pro Combat uniform doesn't disappoint.

The white and blue always looked very cool, but throw in the orange helmet with the blue "F" on the side, and it makes for one great outfit.

    My Grade: B+

9. Oregon State Beavers

3 of 11

Even though this uniform looks similar to the original, I can't understand why I like it more. The color scheme is the same, and one of the only major differences is the all-black helmet that Nike incorporated into the design.

Oregon State has had a few rough years of football, but you know what they say: "Look good, feel good, play good." The Beavers are hoping that's the case next season. Who knows, maybe all you need is to look your best to play your best—I guess we'll find out next year.

    My Grade: B+

8. Miami Hurricanes

4 of 11

As you can tell, Miami has used every color in the Hurricanes' uniform for this design. The orange-green combination does not seem to be a good choice for a football uniform, but once again, Nike has impressed us with what they can do.

The all-orange body with green sleeves and helmet might be one of the coolest looks I've seen for the Hurricanes. I was always a fan of the orange jerseys with the white helmet, but this uniform tops that one—no question.

    My Grade: A-

7. Virginia Tech Hokies

5 of 11

Nike has done an awesome job with the color scheme of this jersey. I was never too big of a fan of the maroon-colored jerseys, and I'm glad to see very little of it in this design.

The black with orange numbering and lettering with the slightest touch of maroon mixed in makes for a great jersey, and that's what the Hokies have here.

    My Grade: A-

6. TCU Horned Frogs

6 of 11

The picture just explains itself. This jersey makes a horned frog look intimidating. Take the black with grey, mix in a little dark purple, and you have one fierce-looking jersey.

Nike did a great job getting people to notice who the horned frogs are and how intimidating they can be.

    My Grade: A-

5. Missouri Tigers

7 of 11

The Tigers' new uniform resembles their former uniform, with not much change in the color scheme, but it still looks really good. They incorporated a new helmet design for one of the alternate jerseys featuring an over-sized tiger on both sides.

This design looks intimidating with the black and gold and makes for one sweet-looking jersey.

    My Grade: A

4. Georgia Bulldogs

8 of 11

Georgia's new jerseys don't look much like their old ones, which I think is good because the older ones were just too plain and traditional.

The new, sleek design and red-and-black color scheme with the silver helmets make the Bulldogs' uniform one of the best in the SEC, if not the best.

    My Grade: A

3. Boise State Broncos

9 of 11

The Broncos are known for having a blue field, and you can now throw into that mix one of the best jerseys in college football.

The helmet is the best feature of the whole thing; it features a white outline of a Bronco that is enlarged to cover the entire side of the helmet. When you combine that helmet with the grey, blue, orange and white color scheme, you get something that you don't want to look away from.

Whoever was a part of designing this uniform should design every jersey because this is one of my favorites, and that is why it comes in at the No. 3 spot on my list.

    My Grade: A+

2. Stanford Cardinal

10 of 11

The Cardinal jersey is just awesome. Dark red and black make a great combination. Andrew Luck and his team were the first to sport this new jersey, and I think Nike did another fantastic job here.

The red-and-white helmet with the "S" on the side was just too old and plain, and Nike did a really good job to find a new, sleek look for the Cardinals to wear.

    My Grade: A+

1. Oregon Ducks

11 of 11

I'm not sure I have ever seen a jersey cooler than this. If I could give this a grade of A+ or better, I would. Black with lime-green outlines and lime-green gloves make the Ducks the coolest-looking team in the college football, and maybe in all of sports.

Nike went above and beyond with this design, and to make it even better, this isn't the only one. The Ducks wore a different jersey in each game they played. They started the trend, and now, teams are wanting in. The Oregon Ducks walk away with the victory here for having the best Pro Combat uniform.

    My Grade: A++
