Battle of the Hardy Boyz: 29 Days Later, I Get My Wish!

It was 29 days ago I wrote an article called "Please Let Matt Hardy Stab His Brother In The Back."

I was so happy to watch the Royal Rumble and see that my want came true. For the past 29 days and really, more than that, there has been Christian this, Christian that.

Now I am one who believes he will be back in a WWE ring sometime in the future but while the crowd echoed “We Want Christian” at the start of the Jeff Hardy and Edge match, I was proud to see that Christian was nowhere to be found, and Matt Hardy got the ultimate nod.

For so long he has been secondary in the Hardy brother’s world, while Jeff has been in the top spot.

Jeff, the one who has been in and out of trouble and dealt with his demons while all Matt Hardy can say is he has been loyal and dedicated, all the while being released when he was the victim of a love triangle between himself, girlfriend Amy Dumas (Lita) and Edge, where Edge and Dumas had an affair going on.

I am excited to watch this develop and would love to see the brother against brother at the big show on April 5, 2009.
