Let's go back in time a few months ago.
Enter Miguel Torres.
As most of us can recall, Torres went to Twitter to release his thoughts on the topic of rape when he shared the following tweet:
"If a rape van was called a surprise van more women wouldn't mind going for rides in them."
Just days later, Torres was released by UFC president Dana White who found his comments on the offensive side.
However, after a meeting with White, Torres was now back inside the Octagon and was slated to take on Michael McDonald at UFC 145.
Many felt it was Torres' last chance to prove his worthiness in the UFC as he lost three of his last six bouts entering last night's contest.
Unfortunately for Torres, who began his career with a 37-1 record, it was the same story, just a different night.
When action began, it was the young gun McDonald who came out firing on all cylinders.
Keeping his distance, McDonald began to pick apart the much more experienced bantamweight.
Just three minutes and 18 seconds later, Torres was staring at the stars as McDonald soared around the Octagon in excitement.
Torres is now 31 years of age and appears to be on the exiting path of his career.
It's hard to envision Torres being a legitimate contender as he's now lost four of his last seven outings.
These staggering numbers lead us to one question—will Miguel Torres be cut by the UFC?
