Foul Territory: Adrian Beltre Injures Left Hamstring Early in Rangers Rout

Third baseman Adrian Beltre was forced to leave in the second inning of Game 1 of a doubleheader Saturday after coming up gimpy and holding his left hamstring at second base following a leadoff double. He appeared to lobby to stay in the game after trainer Jamie Reed and manager Ron Washington came to second base. Beltre wasn't limping noticeably as he walked off the field. Alberto Gonzlaez replaced Beltre and scored two batters later to give the Rangers a 9-0 lead.
