WWE News: Which Raw Superstar Will Be Making the Move to the SmackDown Roster?

If you look at the rosters of Raw and SmackDown these days, you can definitely see a discrepancy in terms of talent as Monday nights have names like John Cena, CM Punk and Brock Lesnar among others each week.

While on Friday nights, SmackDown has the current World Heavyweight Champion Sheamus along with former champion Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes and Intercontinental Champion Big Show.

With the SmackDown brand in desperate need of some new faces on Friday nights, which superstar will be making the jump from Raw to SmackDown to help bolster the roster?

From WrestlingInc.com:

WWE will announce today that Alberto Del Rio and his personal ring announcer Ricardo Rodriguez have officially been moved over to the SmackDown brand. Del Rio has earned a World Heavyweight Title shot against Sheamus and has been touring with the blue brand overseas for the past two weeks.

Even though superstars moving from brand to brand means nothing with the both rosters blended together as of late, the WWE sending Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez to Friday nights is a great move to help give SmackDown some more talent.

With Del Rio earning a World Heavyweight Championship match against Sheamus in the future, it made perfect sense for the WWE to send the former WWE Champion to SmackDown instead of a Raw superstar challenge for the SmackDown brand’s championship.

With Del Rio packing up his expensive cars and personal ring announcer to head to Friday nights, do you think the former WWE Champion could have a successful run on SmackDown after returning from injury in the past few weeks?
