Air Force- Looking good. With soon to be sophomore Tim Jefferson returning after a standout freshman year, I see air force at about 7-5, but the thing is that they won't get blown out by any opponent on their schedule.
They have a good shot at winning them all, but I just don't see it. they will have road problems with Minnesota, Navy, Utah and BYU.
Brigham Young-Lots of returning starters especially in key players Max Hall, Harvey Unga, and O'Neill Chambers. The cougars problem is their consistency and their schedule, Oklahoma will be all but impossible, and TCU, Utah, and Florida State will give them all their worth. Still, I look at BYU as a two-or-three-loss team.
Colorado State- The rams lost alot of key players in Billy Farris, Kyle Bell, and especially Gartrell Johnson. Without experience the Rams will struggle greatly I look at them winning only two or three, it will be a rough year for the rams.
New Mexico- In my opinion the Lobos have the best Quarterback in the conference in Donovan Porterie, but injury plagued him last year.
The Lobos lost Ferguson, and also coach Long stepped down. If they can still keep the good defense that they traditionally have, I look at them pulling possibly winning four or five, they have a very difficult schedule in Texas Tech, Texas A&M, and a decent Tulsa team.
San Diego State- This is the team I think will surprise people. Lots of returning players at QB, RB, WR, and defense. With getting Ball State's old coach. I look at this team as being one of the most eye popping teams in the country.
They have an extremely easy schedule with New Mexico State, Idaho and Southern Utah which should all be give me's I see this team hitting a bowl game next year.
TCU- The Horned Frogs will be a tough one next year, With quarterback Andy Dalton leading the way I see TCU having a year just like the last. They get the Utes in Fort Worth, but they play at BYU and AF, still I see TCU as the probable BCS buster.
UNLV-Frank the tank departed, but Omar Clayton should still be able to lead rebels to a half decent season. Mike Samford has got one more shot to prove himself, but he has got several tests in Hawaii, and Oregon State, I see UNLV repeating like they did last year.
Utah- Last years BCS busters will be busted up pretty bad this year. They lost there QB, WR, and are rebuilding there offensive line. But if can Corbin Louks step it up and they can get a good Offensive line. They might just be an elite team next year they play in Oregon and bring Louisville to rice-eccles.
Wyoming- Finished this last year with a strong win. The Cowboys need to choose between Dax Crum and Karsten Sween at QB. Texas will be a tough one for the cowboys, but Weber State and Bowling green should be wins.
This is how I see it happening:
- TCU
- BYU
- AF
- Utah
- SDSU
- NM
- UNLV
- WYO
- CSU
