One of the best features of a rivalry is it's perpetual nature. There is no offseason for hatred between two schools, especially when recruiting battles fill the void between January and September.

Such recruiting wars are taking place over three undecided running backs in the class of 2013 ranked in the top 10 at the position.

In the Magnolia State, Ole Miss and Mississippi State are pitted against one another in an attempt to secure Kailo Moore from Rosedale. Moore is a two-sport star in track and football and once clocked at 4.27 seconds in the 40-yard dash.

In Florida, Ryan Green from St. Petersburg Catholic is the key recruiting prize for the Gators and Seminoles with Notre Dame applying pressure nationally.

Lastly, Georgia and Alabama are fighting for Alvin Kamara from Norcross, Ga. The Bulldogs and Mark Richt want him bad, but not to be outdone, Nick Saban and the Tide sent him 105 recruiting letters in one day.

Did it work for Alabama? Where are Green and Moore leaning? Find out on this week's version of Battlegrounds.
