Following CM Punk getting the better of Chris Jericho in their match at WrestleMania 28, Y2J didn’t give up in his quest for the WWE Championship as he’s taken their rivalry to the next level with attacking and splashing alcohol on the straight edge champion.

With Jericho leaving the Punk lying decimated the last few weeks, it was just a matter of time before the next encounter between the two superstars all with the biggest prize in the WWE hanging in the balance.

During the tapings for Raw SuperShow in London today, the WWE announced that Chris Jericho will face CM Punk at Extreme Rules later this month in his hometown in an aptly named Chicago Street Fight for the WWE Title.

With John Cena and Brock Lesnar set to go one-on-one in an Extreme Rules match at the pay-per-view, the card for Extreme Rules is taking shape to be a great event for the WWE after the success of WrestleMania earlier this month.

As for the match between Punk and Jericho, I believe the Chicago Street Fight could possibly top their match in Miami with all the added mind games that Y2J has been doing to get in the head of the WWE champion.

In the end, CM Punk will in all likelihood knock off Chris Jericho for the second time in less than a month and walk out of the Allstate Arena in Chicago with the WWE Championship yet again.

After their classic match in front of more than 78 thousand people at WrestleMania in Miami, do you think the second match between Punk and Jericho in a Chicago Street Fight match up to their first encounter this year?
