Every year, a player sneaks into the top of the NFL draft based on raw athletic ability. Whether good or bad, it happens. The 2012 class features a considerable number of raw prospects who intrigue NFL general managers and scouts.
Whether it's Dontari Poe of Memphis, who aced the NFL Scouting Combine and could be on his way to a top-10 selection, or Georgia Tech's Stephen Hill and his untapped potential at wide receiver, the first round of the 2012 draft will be loaded on raw players who have yet to peak as football players.
