How To Make The NHL All-Star Game More Interesting

With the NHL All-Star Game just days away, it's unfortunate that while many die-hard fans will watch and enjoy the game, many more will start yawning after a few minutes.

Here are a few ideas on how to make the game more interesting for both the players and the fans.

  • Have the Winter Classic game for the All-Star game. More fans and more excitement.
  • Award the teams in the winning conference an extra point
  • Instead of 5-on-5 hockey, make some room on the ice and make it 4-on-4.
  • Change the skills competition. Fans are tired of seeing the same old events all the time.
  • Instead of the Rookies playing agaisnt each other, why not have rookies vs. former players?

As always feel free to let me know your ideas. The All-Star Games are sinking fast.

Fans can remember what happened at the last season's Winter Classic yet, they won't even remember where last season's All-Star Game was held.
