Kamil Zayatte the Guinean international defensive midfielder has made his loan deal with the Tigers permanent, in a three year deal.

The Tigers snatched Zayatte from under the noses of both Newcastle and Everton where Zayatte had previously had successful trials.

Zayatte signed with the Tigers on August 31st, the last day of the summer transfer window from Young Boys of Berne. An initial deal was signed with the option to make it permanent.

A fee of £2.5 million was struck that allowed the player to be signed permenently in the January transfer window, but it has take three weeks to iron out personal terms.

Zayatte has been a great success so far with the East Yorkshire outfit. He was drafted in at short notice to replace Hull's record signing Anthony Gardner who has unfortunately been injured for most of the season.

He has joined his fellow countryman Daniel Cousin who he was a colleague of at Lens in France before his move to Young Boys.
