While everyone has been talking about the Alabama Crimson Tide and LSU Tigers dominating the first round of the NFL draft, has anyone noticed that Stanford may put four offensive players on NFL teams in the first round?
Andrew Luck will be the first pick in the draft, that is a given. And offensive linemen Jonathan Martin and David DeCastro will be taken somewhere in the middle of the first round as well. But Coby Fleener, Luck's favorite target in the Cardinal offense, could also come off the board within the first 32 picks.
Who knew the offense was this good and if so, why didn't Stanford claim a national title?
Fleener is the best tight end prospect on the board and for teams that may need a solid pass catcher and blocker.
Here is a look at some of the reasons why Fleener is the top prospect at his position and why he should hear his name called early.
