The Texans bolstered inside linebacker Thursday when they signed Bradie James and re-signed Tim Dobbins.

James, 31, played nine seasons for the Dallas Cowboys. He started 13 games last season and made 44 tackles, the fewest since his rookie season.

James is getting a base salary of $825,000 and a $65,000 signing bonus. He gets $250,000 guaranteed. His cap figure is $605,000...
