My Question to the Bleacher Report Wrestling Unit is: Who is the most adored superstar by fans?
If you watch Monday Night Raw or Friday Night Smackdown, you should know that when certain superstars come out, the crowd goes nuts (not anyone in ECW except for Matt Hardy).
They don't react the way they used to when they saw Stone Cold or The Rock, but they do put up good applause. Right now the biggest fan favorites are:
5. Shawn Michaels
He is easily one of my top five favorites ever, but right now because of the situation with JBL he's getting some jeers. When Mr. Wrestlemania gets out of the contract with JBL, I bet we'll hear more cheers than ever.
4. The Undertaker
He is the most dominant man ever to walk in the Wrestlemania ring, and leading up to Wrestlemania (if he gains momentum), he will become even more of a fan favorite.
3. Rey Mysterio
He's one of the best cruiserweights ever, and has been hearing a huge number of cheers lately. He's the most popular wrestler with children, even though fans have been inconsistent with him lately (earlier this year, fans were jeering him).
2. John Cena
The All American, fun-loving, four-move handler, sweet-talking, soldier supporter is the fan's pick at No. 2 on my list.
1. The Hardyz
Jeff and Matt Hardy are the unique high flying daredevils who get the No. 1 pick on my list. The fans go absolutely crazy for Jeff and Matt (Matt has a little bit less, but it doesn't matter).
Wild Cards
Triple H, the Boogeyman, and R-Truth (He's one of the few superstars who interacts with the fans during his entrance).
