The Big Ten is filled with powerhouse programs that are littered with rich tradition in the college football world, and the 2012 season will go down as another historic year.

Last season, the Big Ten held it’s first ever conference championship game, which was easily one of the most exciting games all year long.

In 2012, it should be much of the same, with Michigan, Michigan State and Wisconsin all vying for the conference crown.

I would add Ohio State to the mix, because certainly they have  the talent, but unfortunately, NCAA sanctions prevent them from being eligible to compete for the Big Ten title.

Still, the Buckeyes will fight hard throughout the year, as will the rest of the Big Ten.

Everyone has their own opinions on who the best is in the conference, so be sure to drop a comment and let me know who you think the top team in the Big Ten is for 2012.
