After a eight-year hiatus from television, the WWE Hall of Fame was re-launched prior to the 20th anniversary of WrestleMania in 2004 with a class of superstars including legendary names in pro wrestling like Bobby Heenan, Jesse Ventura and Sgt. Slaughter.

In the past nine years, the WWE has inducted some of the best divas in the history of the company, among them being Sensational Sherri, Mae Young and Sunny.

With the 29th edition of WrestleMania coming next April, which diva is being reported to being inducted into the Hall of Fame next year prior to the event at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey?

From WrestlingInc.com:

With Brock Lesnar locked in for WrestleMania 29, new speculation is that his wife Sable may be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year. This has not been confirmed by anyone in WWE but we do know that officials are interested in inducting a woman each year.

As one of the most popular divas in the WWE during the Attitude Era of the 1990s, the addition of Sable to the WWE Hall of Fame would be an excellent decision even if Lesnar hadn’t returned to the company last Monday.

During her time in the company, she proved to be a very controversial Diva with moments like the Fully Loaded bikini contest, her feud with Stephanie McMahon and her $110 million lawsuit against the company in 1999.

In addition to Sable going into the Hall of Fame, it would be great to see Trish Stratus and Lita get inducted in the future after the great careers the former Women’s Champions had during their time in the WWE.

With her husband Lesnar expected to compete at next year’s WrestleMania, what do you think about Sable being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next April along with the aforementioned Divas?
