After leaving behind the Smackdown vs. Raw series of games, the latest offering by THQ and the WWE was a great step in the right direction for the new series, as WWE ’12 was a much better game to play over the past few months.
Even though playing better than past Smackdown vs. Raw titles, some of the more diehard gamers still wanted a little bit more from the game, as they challenged the developers to give them more in the next edition of the game.
In a recent article on the European site Gaming Entertainment, we got a little more information on what to expect when WWE ’13 is released for those fans that enjoy playing as their favorite superstars as well as watching them on Monday and Friday nights.
For the biggest news coming out of the camp of the game developers at THQ, we will now have the ability to add 64 layers to a created superstar on the game compared to the 32 layers that we had in the past on previous games.
Along with the change to the create-a-superstar mode on WWE ’13, there have been rumors of past popular superstars being included in this year’s game, including legends the likes of former World Champion Diamond Dallas Page and former Tag Team champions the New Age Outlaws.
Personally, I will definitely pay attention to future updates about the game and which superstars will be featured on the game to see if it can better last year’s offering on WWE ’12.
With likely more improvements coming to the upcoming WWE ’13 video game, do you think you’ll pick up the newest offering later this year around the time of its traditional late-November release?
