Over at his official Twitter account, retired WWE wrestler Shawn Michaels opened up about the superb Hell in Cell match between Triple H and The Undertaker at WrestleMania 28.
As most will know, Michaels served as guest referee and played a pivotal role in the bout as he struggled with his resentment towards The Undertaker against his prerogative to do what was right and be a fair referee.
Packed full of drama, emotion and gripping near-falls, the HIAC match was overwhelmingly considered the standout match on the card by most fans.
Amazingly, HBK noted that he has yet to watch the bout. Asked if he had watched it, he responded simply: "Haven't seen it."
When one fan expressed shock about Michaels not yet having watched the match due to his role as referee, HBK replied sneakily: "Exactly, that's why I thought I didn't have to watch it."
Whether Michaels will ever get around to watching the match, surely one of the best WM bouts ever, remains to be seen. Possibly, like he says, he simply doesn't feel the need to see it because he was there. But hopefully at some point he will seek out the footage and have a look.
