With Ric Flair's appearance at the WWE Hall of Fame on March 31, wrestling fans and members of the Internet wrestling community have been wondering if Flair will eventually make his return to the company.
Some interesting information has come to light regarding Flair and his possible return to the WWE.
According to WrestleZone.com, Ric Flair may make a return to the WWE sometime in 2013. Ric Flair's contract with TNA expires at the end of 2012, so if he does not renew with TNA, then it is entirely possible he may resign with the WWE.
The site has also reported that the WWE is interested in using Flair in conjunction with the launch of the new WWE Network, which is slated for launch sometime near the end of 2012.
During the weekend leading up to WrestleMania XXVIII, it was reported that Flair was having a great time visiting his friends in the WWE and he commented positively about Vince McMahon and The Rock.
If Ric Flair makes his return to the WWE, wrestling fans will no doubt welcome him with open arms.
Considering that most fans know him from his time in the WWE, it would be great for Flair to close out his iconic career with the No. 1 wrestling company in the world.
But with TNA extending its contract with Spike until October 2014, it may want to resign Flair in order to maintain its roster of big name wrestling stars such as Hulk Hogan, Eric Bischoff, Sting and others.
Wrestling fans will just have to wait and see if Flair will indeed “walk that aisle” in the WWE.
