Jon Gruden Is Not Going to Notre Dame

Jon Gruden will not go to Notre Dame to replace Charlie Weis.

A rumor surfaced that after Notre Dame signs their recruiting class in February, Charlie Weis will be fired and Jon Gruden will become the new head coach at Notre Dame.

An institution like Notre Dame would never do something that unethical, locking kids into playing for the Irish before changing coaches on the kids.

I'm not sure any school is low enough to do that without telling the kids, or at least releasing them from their Letter of Intent.

Notre Dame's Director of Football Media Relations recently released a statement denying the rumor.
