If you are a Los Angeles Kings fan, look away.

San Jose Sharks left winger Ryane Clowe broke up a clear breakout down the ice from the bench on Thursday night in the Sharks/Kings game.

The game was a highly contested affair throughout the entirety, which is why this play has stood out since it became a notable play from the game. The play went uncalled by the referees, and the game moved on.

Clowe: “I have no idea what you guys are talking about. I’ll have to see the video or something. Someone show me the video.”

The play perfectly summed up the entire night for the referees, who blew several calls and blatantly missed others. It was clearly one of the most poorly officiated hockey game of the season, and it happened in one of the better games this season has seen so far.

As for Clowe's play from the bench, it can be easily summed up. If you are a Sharks fan, it's funny. If you are not, it is as dirty a play as there is in the game.

Everyone has seemed to get a good laugh out of it, but rest assured this is no joke to the Kings, who had really nice odd-man rush down the ice in a pretty pivotal point in the game.

In the end, the Sharks came up clutch with a few goals to tie the game back up, including one by Clowe himself. The Sharks would pull ahead of the Kings in the third period with just over seven minutes to play, only to have the Kings respond with a goal of their own and extend the game into overtime.

Joe Pavelski's shootout goal was the difference in the game, and the Sharks were victorious, tying the two teams atop the Pacific division with one game to play in the season.
