Two celebrated recruits who have been stuck behind veteran starters the past two years are among the spring standouts for the Boise State football team, which is about halfway through its 15 practices.

Sophomore safety Jeremy Ioane and junior wide receiver Kirby Moore are in position to step up and make a big impact on a team that lost most of its stars.
