CBS Sports senior basketball writer Jeff Goodman reported via Twitter that Jared Sullinger will be announcing his decision to enter the NBA Draft today.

Jared Sullinger will announce he is leaving Ohio State for NBA at 2 pm today. No surprise at all.

It really is not that big of a surprise that Jared Sullinger is declaring for the NBA draft after his sophomore season and another flop at winning Ohio State an NCAA championship.

Sullinger is not one of those players who have an enormous ceiling of athleticism, but he is undeniably refined at his position. After losing all the weight he did, Sullinger returned in his sophomore season lighter and quicker on his feet.

Sullinger is definitely a top-10 pick because of how NBA-ready he is.

Coming out last year would have been a stretch because he was not as polished as the player we see before us now. However, what might have allowed his stock to drop would be his performance in possibly the final game of his college career against Kansas 7-footer Jeff Withey in the Final Four.

Sullinger’s struggles against lengthy defenders were apparent. Still, Sullinger is a quality pick that will not fall past the middle of the first round.
