The New York Jets have become the media darlings of New York, and with the addition of Tim Tebow, the tabloids will not be slowing down anytime soon.  Jets owner Woody Johnson has said HBO hasn't formally invited the team to partake in the next season of "Hard Knocks" but would consider participating if invited.

The Cleveland Indians' Ubaldo Jimenez received a five-game suspension for intentionally throwing at his former teammate, the Colorado Rockies' Troy Tulowitzki. The two have feuded in the press as of late, but things came to a head with the errant pitch, which resulted in both benches clearing.

Robert Griffin III has had what most would call a pretty good year. He led his Baylor Bears football team to a record-setting season, a bowl game win and won the Heisman trophy. But now RGIII can truly say his run of impressive feats is complete. He has his own thong.
